Can you tell what’s wrong from my pictures?
Usually not fully. Pictures show the surface, but what’s behind the wall or under the slab usually needs someone on site.
Should I line up more than one estimate?
If it’s not an emergency, yes. Two written scopes next to each other usually show where the diagnosis or materials actually differ.
Do I have to check licenses myself?
Yes. Checking the provider’s license, insurance, permits, scope, and warranty is on the homeowner before any work is authorized.
